This is the story of how we went from Whatcom County, WA to Rio Arriba County, NM.


I’ve never really shared this publicly—partly because I’m still processing it myself.

It’s been a huge transition, but this year we’re diving back in, feet first: planting a large garden, raising meat birds, adding new egg layers, and welcoming two kunekune/Vietnamese potbelly cross piglets.

May the new journey begin, let’s see what we’re capable of producing this year.
