In-Person Classes

  • In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make a versatile soft bread dough that can be transformed into perfect dinner rolls, loaves, cinnamon rolls, stuffed buns, burger buns, and more. We’ll also cover pie crust and rough puff pastry—great for both sweet and savory dishes—as well as a simple, delicious yellow cake that’s endlessly adaptable.

    You’ll take home everything you bake, and we use only local flours, butter, and high-quality ingredients. All supplies are provided. Chef Ona Lee is a professionally trained baker and can tailor the class to include substitutions or specialty items you’re particularly interested in. You can choose to host the class in your home, or at Ona Lee’s rental kitchen for an additional fee.

    $150 per person in class, up to 8 people per class,

    plus flat $50 kit/travel fee.

  • In this foundational class, you'll learn essential techniques for cooking meat with confidence. We'll cover how to build the perfect braise using beef or pork, how to roast a flawless whole chicken, and how to sear and baste a steak to perfection. We’ll also discuss techniques like brining and reverse searing to deepen your understanding of flavor and texture.

    You’ll take home a portion of each dish made in class. We use only local, pasture-raised meats and high-quality ingredients, and all supplies are provided. Chef Ona Lee has trained in professional protein cookery at acclaimed kitchens including the Michelin-starred Spotted Pig (NYC), Speedy Romeo (Brooklyn), Allumette (Los Angeles), and Sitka & Spruce (Seattle).

    $200 each for 1-4 students, $175 each for 5-8 students.

  • Join Ona Lee, a certified Master Food Preserver, as she guides you through the canning process using the trusted Ball Canning Book to ensure you learn how to safely preserve foods at home. Based on seasonal availability, this class has become one of our most popular offerings. Learn to confidently preserve your garden’s bounty and enjoy the fruits of your labor throughout the long, grey winter months.

    All supplies are provided, and you’ll get to take home what you can in class. You can choose to host the class in your home, or Ona Lee can host at her rental kitchen for an additional fee.

    $150 per student, up to 8 students per class.

  • Foundational vegetable cookery

    In this class, Chef Ona Lee will teach you how to break down, store, and properly prepare a wide range of vegetables, tailored to your interests and the season’s bounty. This class can be customized to be vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free—please let us know your preferences when booking.

    All supplies and produce are provided, and everything is sourced locally. You’ll take home everything you prepare in class. You can choose to host the class in your home, or Ona Lee can host at her rental kitchen for an additional fee.

    $150 per student, up to 8 students.
