Shifting gears — and a heartfelt thank you

Hi Club Members,

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to demonetize the Canning Club — and I wanted to take a moment to share why, what’s next, and most of all, to thank you.

First and foremost: thank you so much for being here. Your support, encouragement, and belief in this work have meant the world to me. This Club was built with a lot of care, and it’s been a special space thanks to you.

The Canning Club isn’t going anywhere — the content, the blog posts, the deep dives — it’s all staying put. But going forward, it will all be freely available to everyone.

As I’ve grown and evolved in how I share this work, I’ve realized that a subscription model just doesn’t feel like the right fit. I want to be able to create and connect without constantly promoting — and to focus on what I love most: offering thoughtful, seasonal, and practical content that’s available to anyone who wants it.

The things you’ve responded to most — the long-form blogs, honest reflections, and preservation resources — are where my heart really is. I want to make more of that, and I want everyone to be able to access it with ease.

So here’s what’s happening:

  • Everything that was in the Club — and everything I had planned — will now be available to everyone.

  • I’ll keep writing and sharing on the blog, just without a paywall.

  • When the time feels right, I’ll offer one-off courses or downloadable resources — no subscriptions, no pressure.

If you’d like to stay up to date on new blog posts, free resources, and future offerings, the best way to stay in the loop is through the email list. Subscribers will always be the first to know.

As a thank you for your support, I’ll also be refunding everyone for the month of July. That process has begun.

This isn’t a goodbye — it’s a shift toward more freedom, more access, and more creativity. Thank you for being part of this community and for helping me shape what’s ahead. I’m so excited to keep sharing what’s next.

With love and endless appreciation,
Ona Lee
